The Halton District School Board has approved the sport of dragonboating to take place within the schools!

Many enthusiastic teachers already have dragonboating as one of the activities for their students to participate in.

If you are not already involved... then you need to know that:

Lively Dragon provides a three session program for students.

The three session program consists of:

We will have a safety boat on the water. We encourage the teacher to take lots of pictures.

The program is best suited for May through Oct. Days fill up quickly so be sure to book ASAP

The cost of the program is $28 per student. There is room in the boat for 20 paddlers and one drummer. The Lively Dragon coach stands at the back of the boat coaching, and steering.

**NEW for 2008** We invite all high school dragon boat teams to participate in a student event on May 30 at Kelso Conservation Area 10am-2pm Cost is $600 per team. All teams race three times.
Prizes-- 1st place wins $400 towards your physed program
2nd place wins $200 towards your physed program
3rd place wins $100 towards your physed program
