Starting at Chiefwood Park in Six Nations near Caledonia, Ontario we will be paddling up river about 20 km toward Brantford then returning to Chiefwood park around 5 pm Stopping along the way for a pot-luck lunch. We will be leaving the docks at 10 am sharp. Participants need to be ready to go at 9:30 am to sign waivers help load boats etc. Boats lifejackets and paddles are provided. WE will be paddling with 14 to 16 people in each boat plus coolers. This is a great way to view natures fall colors, birds, the occasional deer. The paddling is a t a leisurely pace with the odd sprint for fun and of course stopping to take a break now and then. Individuals, partial teams and full teams welcome. Cost is $15 per person.
It will be awesome! The weather is supposed to be great! high of 17 and lots of sun... with no clouds!
If you copy this address and paste it into a browser you can see the route we plan on taking

Google Map
The blue line on the map is the road route...but if you zoom in you can see the path of the river. It looks like we could let some people off at Colburn and Garden Rd but I am not sure if there is water access near that intersection or not.
Also...please remember...we can not have too many people stopping halfway... we need to get the boats back!
