Dragons Abreast: Earth-  If you ask any member of Toronto’s Dragons Abreast why they paddle you will hear a resounding “BECAUSE WE CAN!” And because by paddling strong we are both spreading awareness of breast cancer and sending other survivors a message of hope & encouragement.

Dragon boating enriches our lives physically, mentally and spiritually.

Our generous sponsors, Jones Apparel Group and Scotia Bank, enable us to train and to compete in Ontario.

Dragons Abreast: Windchesters- Ask members of Dragons Abreast Toronto why we paddle and you’ll get a variety of answers, all with the same underlying messages:

·              To show by example that life after breast cancer can be productive, fun-filled and active;

·              To spread awareness of the disease that has touched each and every one of us;

·              To give other survivors a strong message of hope and encouragement.

Dragon boating has enriched our lives, physically, mentally and spiritually and we demonstrate the overwhelming benefits of being physically fit, no matter what our age, health status or ability.

Thanks to our generous sponsors, Jones Apparel Group and Scotia Bank, we train regularly with world class coaches and are familiar faces at dragon boat festivals in Toronto and across Ontario.
